Sfânta Maria Special School renovated with 13 million lei investment
The Sfânta Maria Special Vocational School in Bistrița has undergone a complete modernization and energy efficiency renovation. The project, implemented by the Bistrița-Năsăud County Council, involved an investment exceeding 13.5 million lei funded through the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR).
Key improvements include full thermal insulation of the buildings, the replacement of old joinery, and a modernized heating system featuring a new thermal plant and two heat pumps. To increase energy independence, 120 photovoltaic panels were installed. Additionally, the project included a complete electrical network overhaul with LED lighting, new interior finishes, and the installation of three electric vehicle charging stations.
