Sfântu Gheorghe implements temporary traffic changes for All Saints' Day

To facilitate access for those visiting cemeteries during All Saints' Day, Sfântu Gheorghe will implement temporary one-way traffic measures. Starting from 18:00 on Friday, October 30, until the evening of Sunday, November 1, traffic near the Reformed Church and the Communal Cemetery will be restricted.

Cetății Street will become a one-way uphill route from Calvin Square, while Voican Street will operate as a one-way downhill route from the Communal Cemetery. Local police will direct traffic at multiple points to ensure fluidity.

To prevent congestion on Cetății and Voican streets, authorities recommend using the military shooting range as a parking area. Hadnagy István, director of the Sfântu Gheorghe Local Police, noted that the shooting range provides ample parking close to the entrances of both the Reformed and Communal Cemeteries, offering a more convenient option for visitors, including those with mobility issues.
