Sfântu Gheorghe to Launch Direct Bus Service to Brașov Airport

The public transport company Multi-Trans will purchase two minibuses to create a direct bus link between the city of Sfântu Gheorghe and Brașov International Airport (Ghimbav). Mayor Antal Árpád announced the plan at a press conference, saying the service is expected to begin by the end of the year. Fares will be set according to market rates and are intended to be lower than the current private transfer options, which residents have complained cost more than an airline ticket.

The new route aims to improve accessibility for travelers from Sfântu Gheorghe and reduce the financial burden of reaching the airport.
