Canada and U.S. face escalating trade tensions over tariff threats

Tensions between Canada and the United States have escalated following threats from U.S. President Donald Trump to impose 50 per cent tariffs on Canadian steel, auto parts, and vehicles. Trump warned Canadian leaders to ‘fall in line’ or face consequences more severe than current tariffs.
