SG Flensburg-Handewitt announces roster changes and player departures
SG Flensburg-Handewitt is undergoing significant roster changes for the 2027/28 season. Danish players Simon Pytlick and Niclas Kirkeløkke are set to depart the club in the summer of 2027; Pytlick will join Füchse Berlin, while Kirkeløkke will move to Fredericia HK.
To bolster the squad, the club has secured Portuguese international brothers Francisco and Martim Costa from Sporting Lisbon, both of whom have signed contracts lasting until 2032. Other incoming players include Victor Klöve from Frisch Auf Göppingen and Viggo Kristjansson from HC Erlangen, while Thilo Knutzen returns following a loan at HK Malmö.
Despite these departures, several Danish players, including Simon Møller, Emil Jakobsen, Lasse Møller, and Emil Bergholt, remain with the club on contracts extending beyond 2027. The future of head coach Ales Pajovic and several other players remains uncertain as their contracts expire after the 2026/27 season.
