SG Flensburg‑Handewitt targets titles across all competitions in 2026/27 season

German handball powerhouse SG Flensburg‑Handewitt is preparing for the 2026/27 campaign after a trophy‑less 2025/26 season. The club has revamped its roster, with four new players arriving and four departing, and has already played a test match that ended 35‑33 in favor of Ales Pajovics' side against Danish Skanderborg Aarhus.

Team captain Emil Jakobsen, the Danish left‑winger, said the squad’s ambition is to win every competition they enter – the Bundesliga, the DHB‑Pokal and the European League. Last season the club finished third in the Bundesliga, reached the European League semifinals against MT Melsungen, and saw SC Magdeburg advance past them in the DHB‑Pokal quarter‑finals. The new season will see Flensburg aim to turn those high expectations into silverware.
