SGCCI and BIA sign MoU to boost Gujarat-Maharashtra trade

The Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SGCCI) and the Mumbai-based Bombay Industries Association (BIA) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen trade and industrial cooperation between South Gujarat and Maharashtra.

The agreement aims to establish a business corridor by promoting industrial visits, knowledge-sharing programs, and one-on-one meetings between entrepreneurs. SGCCI President Ashok Jirawala described the partnership as a way to combine Mumbai’s financial and market connectivity with Surat’s manufacturing capabilities to drive national development.
