SH Corporation headquarters relocation to Jungnang-gu enters next phase

The relocation of the Seoul Housing & Communities Corporation (SH Corporation) headquarters to Sinnae-dong, Jungnang-gu, has entered a new phase following the completion of Project REITs establishment procedures. The specialized real estate investment company, ‘Seoul Sinnae Complex Development Project Trust Managed Real Estate Investment Company,’ completed its corporate registration on July 15 and received notification acceptance from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport on August 27.

This milestone provides the foundation for subsequent steps, including the contribution of business site capital and design competitions. The project aims to promote balanced development between northern and southern Seoul and revitalize the northeastern region. The planned complex in Sinnae-dong will include SH Corporation office facilities, performance halls, residential housing, and neighborhood living facilities.

Jungnang-gu officials expect the development to expand business, cultural, and residential functions in the area, boosting the local economy and increasing floating populations. District Head Ryu Gyeong-gi stated that the district will continue to cooperate closely with the Seoul Metropolitan Government and SH Corporation to ensure the project serves as a new growth engine for the region.
