Sha Tin to host large bread festival with over 300 products

The CHILL Bread Festival 2026 is set to take place at New Town Plaza in Sha Tin from August 28 to 30. The event will feature more than 30 bakery brands showcasing over 300 different products across nearly 6,000 square feet of space.

Attendees can expect a variety of items, including bagels, sourdough, traditional Hong Kong pastries, and Portuguese egg tarts. Participating vendors include Kadorar Bakery, which will offer pandan mochi buns, and Manteigaria, known for its signature custard tarts. The festival also features three Taiwanese bakers—Hsu Chia-Chi, Huang Yu-Hsiang, and Wu Chieh-Fu—who will showcase their creations and meet visitors.

Admission to the festival is free, though an optional HK$98 pass is available for members, providing food and shopping vouchers worth up to HK$340. The event will run from 12pm to 9pm, with a slightly later start at 1pm on Friday.
