Shabu-Ya and Ootoya launch summer discount promotions in Japan
Shabu-Ya (しゃぶ葉) will run a limited‑time lunch coupon campaign from 1 August to 7 August 2026. Through the SkaiRaku app, customers can receive a ¥200 discount on the all‑you‑can‑eat beef and pork course, bringing the adult price down to ¥1,999. Additional discounts include a ¥330 reduction for diners aged 60 and over, a free meal for infants, and a 10 % off group discount for up to six students presenting a student ID, valid on weekdays.
Ootoya (大戸屋) has introduced a summer‑season limited fair called “Spice‑scented spicy rice,” featuring two items: the “Seven‑pepper pork and eggplant stir‑fry” and “Spicy sauce fried chicken.” Both dishes are priced around ¥1,290–¥1,380 and will be sold until 16 September 2026, subject to quantity limits. The promotion highlights a rich blend of spices and a balance of heat and umami, aiming to attract customers during the summer period.
