Shabwah authorities mourn victims of attack on Al-Alam training camp

The Shabwah Police General Directorate issued a statement mourning several security personnel killed during a Monday morning attack on the Al-Alam training camp in the Jurdan district. The authorities attributed the attack to Houthi militias.

In response to the incident, Governor Awadh Mohammed bin Al-Wazir led a large funeral procession for the victims in Ataq. To support those affected, the Governor ordered the disbursement of one million Saudi riyals to the families of the martyrs and the wounded.

Security forces have announced an increase in readiness and vigilance to prevent further threats to the province's stability. Officials have also urged citizens to cooperate with security agencies and refrain from sharing images or videos of military sites to avoid compromising operational security.
