Shadow of the Road delayed to March 2027 for polish

Another Angle Games and publisher Owlcat Games have announced a release delay for the tactical RPG ‘Shadow of the Road’. Originally slated for November 2026, the game is now scheduled to launch on March 10, 2027.

Set in 19th-century Japan during the Boshin War, the title features a world blending magic with steampunk-style machinery. The developers stated that the additional time will be used to refine combat balance, tactical systems, and party progression. Specifically, the team aims to make elements such as positioning, initiative, and ability selection more meaningful to ensure battles reward strategic planning over brute force.

The game will be available on PC via Steam, GOG.com, and the Epic Games Store.
