Shadows Fall Confirms New Album Completed

Guitarist and vocalist Jonathan Donais announced that Shadows Fall’s long‑awaited eighth studio album is finished, though the band still needs to sort release timing and schedules. The Springfield, Massachusetts metalcore group worked on the record with producer Zeuss, known for collaborations with Rob Zombie and Hatebreed.

The new material marks the band’s first full‑length since 2012 and follows two singles released in recent months – “Souls Devoured” (May 2025) and “In the Grey” (December 2024) – issued through the MNRK Heavy label. After reuniting for a live show in December 2021, the group has been developing the album while rehearsing older songs, with Donais noting that the creative process resurfaced during those sessions. Release details are still being finalized.
