Shaedon Sharpe sidelined for six months following knee surgery

Portland Trail Blazers guard Shaedon Sharpe is expected to be sidelined for at least six months following surgery to repair a lateral meniscus tear in his right knee. The 23-year-old, who underwent the procedure in Los Angeles, will be reevaluated in February 2027.

In the WNBA, the Indiana Fever are scheduled to face the Connecticut Sun at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. The Fever, led by Caitlin Clark and Kelsey Mitchell, enter the matchup as significant betting favorites. Clark has been a focal point of the team's offense, leading the league in assists while maintaining a high scoring average.

Separately, Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark has announced a new commercial partnership with Stanley 1913. The collaboration will feature a limited-edition drinkware collection inspired by her playing style, scheduled for release on September 1.
