Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone reunite in King song Tu Mil Jaaye

Shah Rukh Khan has released the first song from his upcoming film, King, titled “Tu Mil Jaaye”. Released on November 2 to coincide with the actor's 61st birthday, the track features a global musical collaboration between Indian singer Arijit Singh and British pop star Ed Sheeran, who contributes an English rap.

The music video reunites Shah Rukh Khan with frequent co-star Deepika Padukone, blending romantic dance sequences with intense action elements. The song, composed by Sachin-Jigar with lyrics by Kumaar, showcases a character that balances romance with a more dangerous, action-oriented edge.

Ed Sheeran shared behind-the-scenes footage of the recording process, noting that the collaboration began after a meeting with Khan. Sheeran recorded his verse on the same night he was introduced to the music composition duo in India. The film, directed by Siddharth Anand and produced by Red Chillies Entertainment, is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on December 24, 2026.
