Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone to film song for King in Mumbai

Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone are scheduled to film a major musical sequence for the upcoming action thriller ‘King’ in Mumbai starting October 26. The shoot is expected to last approximately one week and will feature choreography by Vaibhavi Merchant.

This production marks the sixth film collaboration between Khan and Padukone, following previous projects such as ‘Om Shanti Om’, ‘Chennai Express’, ‘Happy New Year’, ‘Pathaan’, and ‘Jawan’. While earlier reports suggested South Africa as a potential filming location, the production has shifted to Mumbai.

The shoot also marks Deepika Padukone’s return to film sets following the birth of her second daughter, Devi Padukone Singh, in September 2026. Although the song’s title and music composer have not been officially announced, the sequence is expected to involve several members of the film’s ensemble cast.
