Shah Rukh Khan expresses desire to reunite with director Atlee

Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan has expressed interest in collaborating again with director Atlee, following the success of their 2023 film, Jawan. The actor shared his sentiment on social media in response to a birthday message from Atlee, stating, “Thank you my Jawan captain. Missing the madness of our sets. Let’s create some more soon.”

Atlee, who described Khan as his mentor and biggest inspiration, had previously congratulated the actor on his birthday and praised the song “Tu Mil Jaaye” from Khan’s upcoming film, King. The collaboration on Jawan, produced by Gauri Khan under Red Chillies Entertainment, was a significant commercial success and earned Khan his first National Film Award for Best Actor.

Jawan featured an ensemble cast including Deepika Padukone, Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, and Sunil Grover. While Atlee has since worked on other projects, such as producing Baby John, he is currently working on a big-budget film titled Raaka with Allu Arjun.
