Shah Rukh Khan unveils new poster for upcoming film King
Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has released a new poster for his highly anticipated action-thriller, ‘King’, scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on December 24, 2026. The poster depicts the actor in a gritty, intense avatar, walking through flames while holding a gun and a rose between his lips.
Accompanying the visual is the caption, “Aaj phir yaad aaya... Qaatil nahi... Aashiq hoon,” a nostalgic nod to his 1999 film ‘Baadshah’. The film, directed by Siddharth Anand, marks Khan’s second collaboration with the director following the 2023 blockbuster ‘Pathaan’.
‘King’ features a star-studded ensemble cast, including Suhana Khan, marking the first time Shah Rukh Khan will share the screen with his daughter. Other cast members include Abhishek Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Anil Kapoor, Rani Mukerji, and Jaideep Ahlawat. The project is produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and Marflix Pictures. During a recent social media session, Khan noted that he is closely overseeing the post-production and visual effects to ensure the highest quality for the Christmas release.
