Shah Rukh Khan's film King lands Rs 50 crore music rights deal

Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming Hindi film *King*, directed by Siddharth Anand and slated for a Christmas 2026 release, is negotiating a record‑breaking music‑rights agreement. Leading offers from major labels such as Sony, Saregama and T‑Series hover around Rs 50 crore, making it the third‑largest deal after *Ramayana* (Rs 75 crore) and *Dhurandhar 2*.

The film’s soundtrack is being created by the composer duo Sachin‑Jigar. Production is in its final stage, with only about 15 days of shooting remaining and post‑production work progressing rapidly.
