Bihar CM announces major education and examination reforms

Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary has announced several major reforms aimed at strengthening the state's education system and modernizing examination processes. During a state-level workshop in Patna, the Chief Minister outlined measures to make education more qualitative and student-centric.

Key initiatives include the formation of a state-level Special Committee for Quality Education to transform schools into centers of excellence and a state-level Examination Reform Committee. The latter will focus on making board and competitive examinations more transparent and fair by integrating technology and artificial intelligence (AI) to better assess students' analytical and understanding abilities.

To improve student welfare, the government will launch a dedicated online portal for students to register complaints and suggestions regarding schools, colleges, and administration. If a grievance is not resolved within 30 days, it will be escalated to the Chief Minister's level through monthly special collaboration camps. Additionally, Student Welfare Directorates will be established in relevant departments to ensure effective implementation of these initiatives.
