Shahr-e Rey police arrest two suspects in fatal car deal dispute
Police in Shahr-e Rey have arrested two suspects following a violent confrontation triggered by a dispute over a vehicle transaction. The incident, which occurred in late August, resulted in the death of a young man and injuries to three of his friends.
Investigations revealed that the victim had intended to complete a car deal, while the primary suspect also sought to purchase the same vehicle. The suspect reportedly arranged a meeting to persuade the victim to abandon the transaction. During the encounter, the dispute escalated into physical violence. The perpetrator used a Winchester rifle to shoot and kill the victim, while an accomplice used a machete to wound three friends, causing injuries to their noses, ears, and fingers.
Following the attack, the two suspects fled the scene. However, after conducting intelligence operations and identifying a hideout in Shahr-e Rey, police successfully apprehended both individuals on Wednesday afternoon.
