Shahrekord authorities seal three businesses

Authorities in Shahrekord, the capital of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province, have sealed three business establishments. Mehdi Asgari, the deputy prosecutor, stated that two car showrooms were closed for failing to comply with regulations regarding the drafting of sales agreements.

A third establishment, a gaming cafe, was sealed for the purpose of “improving moral security” and failing to adhere to relevant laws and regulations.

Reports indicate a trend of increased judicial and security oversight of commercial activities in the region. Data from human rights activists suggests that many business closures in the country are driven by non-professional reasons, such as compliance with mandatory hijab laws or religious observance periods, rather than strictly commercial violations.
