Shake Shack identified as most overpriced U.S. fast-food chain

A study conducted by Preply has identified Shake Shack as the most overpriced fast-food chain in the United States. The analysis was based on over 57,000 Google reviews from more than 10,000 restaurants across 50 major U.S. cities, specifically tracking keywords such as “pricey,” “expensive,” “overpriced,” and “rip-off.”

According to the findings, Shake Shack received more complaints regarding high food costs than any other national chain. The study also noted that fast-food prices in the country have increased by nearly 50% over the last decade.
