Shakira and Gerard Piqué appear in court over child visitation

Singer Shakira and her former partner, Gerard Piqué, appeared in a Barcelona court to address visitation arrangements for their two sons, Milan and Sasha.

Shakira is seeking to modify the current visitation agreement to reduce the travel burden on their children. Currently, the boys reside with Shakira in Miami, USA, while Piqué lives in Barcelona, Spain. Shakira’s legal team stated that the goal is to prevent the children from having to endure frequent transatlantic flights, which cause significant time zone shifts and disrupt their school, social, and family routines. The proposal suggests that Piqué should travel to Miami for short visits rather than requiring the children to travel to Spain.

Following the court appearance, Piqué was seen publicly with his partner, Clara Chía, at a music event in Barcelona.
