Shakira says goodbye to Uganda's Ghetto Kids after World Cup halftime show

Colombian pop star Shakira spent several days in Miami with the Ugandan dance group Ghetto Kids, who performed with her during the FIFA World Cup final halftime show in the United States. She posted a series of Instagram photos and an emotional message, writing, "Estos últimos días han estado llenos de un amor inexplicable" and noting that the children experienced their first visit to a beach. Shakira said saying farewell was "muy duro" and described the youngsters as "como si fueran mis hijos". She highlighted the group's vulnerable backgrounds in Kampala, Uganda, and called for global responsibility toward all children, stating that they belong to everyone. The singer named each of the eight members – Ivan, Ricky, Joseph, Brighton, Kesha, Jojo, Ciara and Ketra – and thanked them for the lessons they taught her about love and compassion.
