Shakira dissolves Spanish company Fire Rabbit

Singer Shakira has formally dissolved her asset management company, Fire Rabbit. Founded in 2012 and based in Esplugues de Llobregat, Spain, the company was established during her relationship with former footballer Gerard Piqué.

According to the Official Gazette of the Mercantile Registry, the dissolution involves the revocation of administrators and the appointment of liquidators, including Shakira herself. This move follows a reorganization of the artist's business structures in Spain following her relocation to Miami and her separation from Piqué.

The closure occurs amid significant legal developments regarding her tax status in Spain. In May, the National Court instructed the Spanish Tax Agency to return approximately 60 million euros to the artist after annulling a fine related to the 2011 fiscal year. The court ruled that the administration failed to prove she had resided in Spain for more than 183 days that year, which is the legal requirement for establishing tax residency.
