Shakira postpones Egypt concert and visits father in Colombia

Singer Shakira has rescheduled her concert at the Giza Pyramids in Egypt to April 2, 2027. Originally intended to close her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour, the event was moved from November 28, 2026, to ensure the safety of the public, staff, and production team.

Separately, the Colombian artist has returned to her hometown of Barranquilla to be with her father, William Mebarak, following reports of health issues. While some media outlets suggested he required hospitalization, recent footage shows the singer walking with her father, who was using a wheelchair accompanied by medical staff, indicating he was not admitted to a clinic.
