Shakira postpones Egypt pyramid concert to April 2027

Colombian singer Shakira has announced the second postponement of her highly anticipated concert at the Pyramids of Giza, Egypt. Originally scheduled for November 28, 2026, the performance has been moved to April 2, 2027.

Shakira shared the decision via her Instagram Stories, citing the current regional circumstances and geopolitical tensions in the Middle East as the primary reasons for the delay. She emphasized that the safety and well-being of her fans and crew remain her highest priorities.

The concert is part of her “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran” world tour. This event marks a significant return to the Giza plateau for the artist, who last performed there in 2007. Shakira expressed her heartbreak over the delay but reassured her Egyptian fans with the message, “Egypt, I am coming!”

Tickets previously sold for the November date remain valid for the new April 2027 date, though fans are advised to check with ticketing platforms regarding specific refund conditions.
