Shakra releases new single 'Wasteland Warriors' ahead of Sep 4 album Just Live Loud

Swiss hard‑rock veterans Shakra have issued the lyric‑video single “Wasteland Warriors,” a darker, epic‑styled track that retains the band’s signature heavy‑guitar riffing, driving rhythm and subtle Hammond organ blues touches. The song’s dystopian lyrics depict a post‑apocalyptic landscape and convey a message of human resilience and perseverance.

Lead singer Mark Fox explains the lyrics draw on personal crises, noting that “even at the lowest point you can find a spark of hope that lets you get back on your feet.” The single precedes the band’s forthcoming studio album Just Live Loud!, scheduled for release on 4 September via Frontiers Music Srl. The album, the group’s first in over three decades, is expected to blend hard‑rock power with cinematic atmosphere, staying true to the sound that has defined Shakra for more than 30 years.
