shallm announces new song as anime opening theme

The musical project shallm has announced that its new song, ‘Kimiiro Hirari’, will serve as the opening theme for the TV anime ‘Kakunaru Uewa’, scheduled to begin broadcasting in January 2027.

The announcement was made as a surprise during the opening performance of the band’s nationwide tour, ‘shallm EP TOUR “ANTI AFTER SCHOOL”’, held at Zepp Shinjuku in Tokyo on October 8. The new track was also performed live for the first time during the concert.

Lia, the vocalist and songwriter for shallm, commented that the song was written with the feeling of continuing the story of their first release, ‘Mugen Hologram’. She expressed that the lyrics, including the line ‘It shone with color because you were there’, reflect her gratitude toward the people who have supported her journey and dreams.
