Shamator DPDB meets to coordinate district development

The District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) in Shamator held a meeting on September 9 to discuss regional development and administrative functioning. Chaired by Deputy Commissioner Arikumba, the session focused on improving road connectivity, infrastructure implementation, and inter-departmental coordination.

During the meeting, various heads of offices raised challenges requiring district-level intervention. The Deputy Commissioner emphasized the necessity of regular monitoring for government programs and timely implementation of projects to address field-level issues. Additionally, the Agriculture Department provided a presentation on its local activities, leading to discussions on strengthening agricultural outreach within the district.
