Shamrock Rovers win sixth League of Ireland title in seven seasons

Shamrock Rovers have secured their sixth League of Ireland Premier Division title in seven seasons following a 4-0 victory over Sligo Rovers at Tallaght Stadium. The win was confirmed after Bohemians failed to secure points in their match against Shelbourne.

Adam Brennan scored twice for the Hoops, with additional goals from Aaron Greene and Dylan Watts. The victory marks another successful season under manager Stephen Bradley. The match also featured a significant moment for midfielder Gary O’Neill, who returned to play exactly one year after his testicular cancer diagnosis.
