Shan Masood ruled out of Pakistan's second Test vs West Indies with finger fracture

Pakistan left‑hand batter Shan Masood suffered a fracture to the index finger of his left hand after being struck by a delivery from West Indies fast bowler Jayden Seales during the first Test in Trinidad. The injury forced him to miss the second Test of the series, which begins on 2 August at the Queen's Park Oval, leaving Pakistan without its only centurion of the opening match – Masood made 109 in the first innings. The Pakistan Cricket Board confirmed that Masood is undergoing treatment by the team’s medical panel and will travel with the squad, but his availability for the upcoming three‑match Test series against England, starting on 19 August at Headingley, remains doubtful.
