Shanchuo-13 documentary film tour concludes in Nicaragua

The documentary film ‘Shanchuo-13’, produced by China Media Group (CMG), has successfully concluded its film tour in Nicaragua. The closing ceremony was held at the National Film Archive in Managua.

Attendees included Daniel Edmundo Ortega, media coordinator for Nicaragua’s Council of Communication and Citizenship; co-directors of the National Film Archive, Idania Castillo and Adrian Carrasco; Chinese Ambassador to Nicaragua, Chu Yuhui; and Yin Xiaotong, deputy director of CMG’s Latin America station.

During the event, Daniel Edmundo Ortega expressed gratitude to CMG and voiced hope for future Chinese film and television works to enrich Nicaragua’s cultural life. Ambassador Chu Yuhui noted that since the restoration of diplomatic relations between China and Nicaragua approximately five years ago, cooperation across various sectors, particularly culture, has played an essential role in increasing mutual understanding between the two nations.
