Shane Gillis discusses avoiding photos with Donald Trump

Comedian Shane Gillis discussed his decision to avoid photographing himself with President Donald Trump during the UFC Freedom 250 event held on the White House South Lawn in June. Appearing on ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’, Gillis explained that he declined an invitation to enter the VIP room to avoid being captured in photos with the president.

Gillis noted that while he had taken a photo with the president in previous years, he did so before several controversial developments in the president's second term. He mentioned that his previous support was based on the hope that the administration would release the Epstein files and end wars. Gillis also clarified that he did not vote for Trump in the 2024 election.
