Shane Lowry joins Rory McIlroy at Boston Common Golf

Shane Lowry will join Rory McIlroy’s Boston Common Golf team for the 2027 TGL season, marking the first trade in the history of the TMRW Golf League. Lowry moves from The Bay Golf Club to Boston Common Golf as the league prepares to expand rosters to five players.

In exchange for Lowry, The Bay Golf Club will receive Boston’s fourth-round selection in the upcoming roster formation process, the right to swap one selection position during one of the next three offseasons, and unspecified commercial considerations. The move reunites the two Irish golfers, who have previously competed together on European Ryder Cup teams and won the 2024 Zurich Classic.
