Shane Rampling steps down as Boggabri rugby league coach
Shane Rampling has stepped down as the coach of the Boggabri Kangaroos after eight seasons at the helm. Rampling, who took over the team in 2018, cited a need for rest and more time with his family as the reasons for his departure.
His tenure concluded following a historic 2024 campaign in which the club reached its first Group 4 first grade grand final in 60 years. Rampling highlighted the team's victory over Kootingal in the minor semi-final and a subsequent extra-time win against Werris Creek as defining moments of the season. Nick Millar has been named as his successor.
