Joey Logano wins Cook Out 400 at Richmond Raceway

Joey Logano won the NASCAR Cup Series Cook Out 400 at Richmond Raceway, securing his second victory in four starts and his 39th career win. Driving the No. 22 Team Penske Ford, Logano utilized a late-race charge on fresh tires to overtake Christopher Bell and Chase Briscoe, ultimately winning by 0.392 seconds.

Chase Briscoe, driving for Joe Gibbs Racing, finished second after leading a race-high 171 laps. Briscoe’s performance secured his position in the championship playoff field. Austin Cindric finished third, followed by Denny Hamlin and Chase Elliott in the top five.

Earlier in the weekend, Ryan Blaney secured the pole position for the Cup race, marking his fourth pole of the 2026 season. In the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series event held at the same venue, Kaden Honeycutt claimed victory after dominating much of the race. Shane van Gisbergen, who started on the pole for the Truck race, finished fourth after recovering from a pit lane penalty.
