Shanghai Electric unveils industrial AI and robotics solutions at CIIF 2026

At the 2026 China International Industry Fair (CIIF) in Shanghai, Shanghai Electric presented 19 integrated solutions focused on industrial innovation. The showcased technologies span intelligent robotics, industrial AI, computing infrastructure, heavy-duty gas turbines, and nuclear power equipment.

A key highlight was the launch of an integrated component solution for embodied intelligence robotics. This portfolio includes bearings, fasteners, screws, joint modules, and dexterous hands designed for humanoid, industrial, and collaborative robots. Specific products featured include miniature bearings with 0.6 millimeter inner diameters and a robotic hand with 22 degrees of freedom.

The company also demonstrated AI-driven digital solutions for wind power, covering the entire lifecycle from design and manufacturing to operation and maintenance. Additionally, Shanghai Electric presented an integrated production-line solution for lithium battery smart factories, providing automated processes for battery production.
