Shanghai hosts 48th WorldSkills Competition

The 48th WorldSkills Competition has commenced in Shanghai, China, bringing together approximately 1,400 young professionals from over 65 countries and regions. The event features practical competitions across 64 different occupations, designed to simulate real-world market challenges.

The Brazilian delegation includes 71 competitors, with specific participation from Senac and Senai Mato Grosso. Senac is represented by nine competitors in fields such as Floristry, Esthetics and Well-being, Hairdressing, Restaurant Service, Health Care, Dental Prosthesis, Cooking, Sales, and Hotel Reception.

Senai Mato Grosso is marking a historic milestone with five students participating in the event. The competition serves as an international showcase for vocational education, allowing institutions and experts to observe emerging technologies and methodologies in professional training.
