Shankar and AR Murugadoss reportedly discussing film collaboration

Reports suggest a potential collaboration between prominent Tamil cinema directors Shankar and AR Murugadoss for a new project. While no official announcement has been made, industry buzz indicates that a story may be under development involving both filmmakers.

Speculation regarding their specific roles remains unconfirmed. Some reports suggest Murugadoss may have worked on the story with his team while Shankar is expected to direct, while other industry sources suggest a story developed by Shankar’s writing team might be discussed with Murugadoss. It is currently unclear if the discussions will result in a feature film or if the roles of director and writer will shift between the two.

Both directors are known for large-scale commercial cinema and are seeking significant projects following recent works. Shankar has been linked to an adaptation of the historical novel Velpari, while Murugadoss is reportedly attached to an upcoming Hindi action film starring Sunny Deol.
