SHANLING to release copper alloy M8T and UA7 audio models
SHANLING, distributed by MUSIN, is launching two new high-end audio models featuring copper alloy enclosures: the M8T Copper digital audio player (DAP) and the UA7 Copper portable DAC/amp. Both products are scheduled for release on October 9, 2026, with pre-orders beginning October 2.
The M8T Copper is a flagship DAP equipped with dual JAN6418 vacuum tubes and a high-performance DAC configuration using two AK4191EQ and two AK4499EX chips. The copper alloy body is designed to provide superior thermal conductivity, electromagnetic shielding, and mechanical stability to enhance sound quality. It runs on Android 13 with a Snapdragon 665 processor and features a 6-inch Sharp display.
The UA7 Copper is a portable DAC/amp based on the UA7 model, also utilizing two JAN6418 vacuum tubes and an ESS ES9069 DAC chip. The copper chassis aims to reduce vibration and interference for the vacuum tubes and analog circuits.
To celebrate the launch, a trade-in campaign for the M8T Copper will be held at select retailers, such as e☆イヤホン and フジヤエービック, offering a 30,000 yen discount for customers who complete a qualifying trade-in by November 8, 2026.
