Shannon Clark defeats Lucero Acosta via TKO at PFL Chicago

Shannon Clark secured a third-round TKO victory over Lucero Acosta at PFL Chicago. Despite Acosta’s early success with boxing combinations and superior reach, Clark overcame the initial deficit to finish the bout at 1:59 of the third round using sustained elbows from a top position.

Clark, a Canadian fighter ranked No. 10 in the PFL flyweight division, improved her professional record to 9-1. Following the match, Clark expressed mixed emotions, noting that while she was pleased with the win, she felt frustrated by her early performance and her difficulty getting back to her feet during the opening round. She attributed some of this struggle to her training regimen in Lethbridge, where she frequently spars with much larger male athletes.
