Shannon Sharpe claims NFL agents are blocking players from ‘Nightcap’

Shannon Sharpe has claimed that certain sports agencies are preventing current NFL and NBA players from appearing as guests on his podcast, ‘Nightcap’. Sharpe, who co-hosts the show with former NFL player Chad ‘Ochocinco’ Johnson, stated that the show has actively reached out to athletes but has faced rejections at the representative level.

Sharpe suggested the boycott stems from a discussion he and Johnson had on the program last year. While he did not name the specific agency or the players involved, he noted that an agent reportedly contacted the show directly to state they would not allow their clients to appear on the platform. Sharpe emphasized that while he does not wish to ‘put nobody’s agency on blast’, the refusal to allow guests is a deliberate decision made by representatives.
