Actor and producer Shannon Wallace is starring in his first leading film role in the romance ‘A Story About You’. The Brooklyn‑set movie uses a confessional, chapter‑based format inspired by Spike Lee to explore modern dating, ethical non‑monogamy and to spotlight Black actresses, a cause Wallace says motivated his involvement.

Wallace also confirmed that the second season of his series ‘Diarra From Detroit’ will return to Paramount+ on July 29, with the actor describing the upcoming season as “incredible” and “better than season one.”
