Shaperon resumes trading following 5-to-1 reverse stock split

Shaperon has completed a 5-to-1 reverse stock split and resumed trading following a suspension period from September 4 to September 28. The stock's base price is set at 2,550 KRW, with the par value increased from 100 KRW to 500 KRW. This move aims to stabilize the stock price and enhance corporate value.

The company expects to be lifted from its status as an administrative issue stock by December 3, provided the closing price remains above 1,000 KRW for 45 consecutive trading days. Shaperon plans to accelerate business commercialization, including the launch of anti-inflammaging products this autumn and the integration of its subsidiary, NeedsTech, into its consolidated financial statements.

On the research and development front, Shaperon is focusing on inflammation complex regulation and its Nanobody Drug Conjugate (NDC) platform. The company is pursuing technology transfers for several first-generation drug candidates, including NuGel for atopy and NuSepin for systemic inflammation syndrome. Additionally, it is negotiating with global pharmaceutical companies regarding second-generation candidates and utilizing its NDC platform for immuno-oncology applications.
