Shaperon targets 10 billion won in overseas K-beauty sales by 2027
Shaperon is expanding its global K-beauty business by focusing on ‘inflammaging’—a concept where chronic micro-inflammation accelerates skin aging. The company aims to achieve over 10 billion won in overseas sales by 2027 to secure resources for new drug development.
Through its subsidiary, Neastech, Shaperon has established a local entity in Australia and completed entry into Amazon marketplaces in the United States and Japan. The company is also targeting expansion into Taiwan, Singapore, and other Southeast Asian and Greater China markets. Neastech, which operates the home healthcare brand ‘Hugwrap’ and skincare brand ‘Vood’, has seen significant growth, increasing its revenue scale more than 50-fold over the past five years.
A key driver of this growth is Neastech’s Minimum Viable Product (MVP) strategy, which involves quickly releasing products to test consumer response before full-scale production. This Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) approach has already shown results in Hong Kong, where the local subsidiary recorded cumulative sales of over 1 billion won within three months of establishment.
In North America, Shaperon plans to enhance operational efficiency and strengthen its market presence through increased cooperation between its US subsidiary, Hudson Therapeutics, and Neastech’s US entity.
