Sharia-Free America Caucus targets state legislation

The Sharia-Free America Caucus intends to expand its efforts during the 120th Congress by working with state leaders to codify legislative measures aimed at protecting the U.S. Constitution from Sharia law.

Indiana Lieutenant Governor Micah Beckwith has expressed strong support for this initiative, stating he is “100 percent [be] all in on this.” Beckwith noted that his office receives frequent calls from constituents regarding the issue, describing it as an “80/20 issue” that receives support from both Republicans and Democrats. He characterized Islam as a “political and military ideology” and argued that proactive awareness is necessary to prevent the potential destruction of the Constitution.
