The 45th edition of the Sharjah International Book Fair has commenced at the Sharjah Expo Centre, featuring over 1.7 million titles from 3,212 publishers representing 126 countries. Under the theme “Who Made the Stories,” the event includes 1,500 cultural and artistic activities, such as literary sessions, workshops, and theatrical performances.

The Sharjah International Publishers Conference, held as part of the fair, recorded 7,980 professional meetings over two days, marking a 140% increase compared to the previous edition. This growth reinforces the fair's position as a global leader in the buying and selling of publishing and translation copyrights.

Oman is the guest of honor for this edition, presenting a program of 16 cultural sessions, six workshops, and 20 artistic performances.
