Emirati women have increased their presence in the Sharjah property market, investing AED 2.7 billion ($735.2 million) between January and August 2026. According to data from the Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department, the number of Emirati female property owners rose 4.2 percent compared to the same period in 2025, reaching a total of 3,737 women owning 3,385 properties.
The total value of transactions saw a 1.2 percent increase from AED 2.6 billion in the first eight months of 2025 to AED 2.7 billion in 2026. Additionally, the number of properties traded grew by 1.9 percent.
